Duke just saw the question you asked previously...sorry for the late response was on a 12 day run to Singapore & Malaysia, so just now catching up.
Have never have been to Berlin, definitely on the list though. Would be very strange to go in the fuherbunker, is it possible to tour? Only German town have stayed in was Monchau (sp) which was the northern border of The Battle of The Bulge. Very cool town, ironically I have met many Germans who have never heard of it . I was told to visit there after my Battle of The Bulge self driving tour by one of the guides that took me through Ft Eben Emal. I was suppose to go to a trade show in dusseldorf last fall and was going to take 3 days and visit/drive around Battle of The Hurtgen Forest area but at the last minute my handlers said let our UK manager go. That was a pisser. Will go to Vienna again next February and am thinking about running the RT through Rome since I have some clients to meet in Milan. Two goals if that happens, first want to fly down to Tunisia and pay my respects to our troops buried in The US Military Cemetery there (bucket list thing as I plan to visit all our overseas military cemeteries and pay my respects to our fallen hero's) second want to visit the area around Monte Cassino. Probably one of the coolest places I've seen is Corregidor Island, if you ever get close to Manila it's a must.
