CB the second Bush the elder broke his no new taxes pledge is when I thought they crawled into a hole. He was so convinced that compromising was tantamount to success of an agenda that he caved. When in reality, the liberals/left saw compromise then and still do, as a weakness. This is why Trump and his advisors need to put their foot on the throats of all liberals and keep it there. Bend them until they snap, then go back and break them into quarters. The more they break, the more obnoxious they will get and this will convince even more middle road people, minorities and small business will see that the liberals have the "small tent," not the right.
