Does President Trump...

Stopped reading after this...

"It is not clear whether the intercepted communications had anything to do with Mr. Trump’s campaign, or Mr. Trump himself. It is also unclear whether the inquiry has anything to do with an investigation into the hacking of the Democratic National Committee’s computers and other attempts to disrupt the elections in November."

So does he halt these investigations or no?

It's always ok Dave. The quality of my answer will depend on my mood. Fortunately for you, we finally won a conference game today, but on the other hand I'm still pretty jacked up on a smartass high.
Good thing on that win... pretty chippy overall waiting on that to happen!

We're distracted by the Trillion Pound March. If they'd quit with the protests, we could focus on how horrible Trump is.
Horrible isn't my point, pretty much untenable position is. What is the Alpha move that doesn't get you impeached? Special investigator? Don't know how this first hurdle can be cleanly cleared....

Not sure why. Obama's administration laid out a pretty solid blueprint. How many members of his administration were prosecuted?

At what point did we have 6 different ongoing investigations of Obama and his inner circle? Don't recall that circumstance....

Half his cabinet didn't pay their taxes, including little Timmy who was the IRS boss.
So there must have been criminal charges brought, at the very least investigations, no? Wait, you mean they settled it up well before they were confirmed not unlike about half of Trumps nominees... oh well, so much for that.

Who was going to bring criminal charges?

This. He's got a great point davidallen. Hillary, Lois Lerner, Loretta Lynch, Eric Holder, etc etc. Pleading the Fifth in a Congressional hearing speaks for itself, as does the immunity deals, etc. You can choose to ostrich, but unless you've got one of those Men in Black mind eraser thingies, the rest of us remember the rampant corruption of the 0bama administration.

The rampant corruption? Complete revisionist history. You say it is obvious, yet somehow they evaded detection? Aren't immunity deals crafted to gather evidence against others? Please boys and girls - bring something with substance.

I will make it easy: when did Eric Holder plead the Fifth Amendment? Lois Lerner? Lynch? Clinton?

What were the recommendation of charges against HRC by prosecutors or other law enforcement bodies?

How is that somehow past administrations were accountable for breaking laws but this administration wasn't? Give me a theory at least please.

Uhhhhhh, you lost all credibility when you asked when Lois Lerner plead the Fifth. Whiff. You either love acting obtuse or you've been desperately looking for your friend Wilson. Good luck in either case.

Damn, forgot about the Issa hearings... got me on that one. Got another? You could say Patreus I suppose.

Let me give you some names to ponder as you think about that: Poindexter, Fiers, Abrams, Cunningham, DeLay, Jackson (Jr.), Hastert, Libby, etc...

Scandal free Obama. A spectacular white washing has already begun.

From WP
  • State Department email. In an effort to evade federal open-records laws, Mr. Obama’s first secretary of state set up a private server, which she used exclusively to conduct official business, including communications with the president and the transmission of classified material. A federal criminal investigation produced no charges, but FBI Director James Comey reported that the secretary and her colleagues “were extremely careless” in handling national secrets.
  • Operation Fast and Furious. The Obama Justice Department lost track of thousands of guns it had allowed to pass into the hands of suspected smugglers, in the hope of tracing them to Mexican drug cartels. One of the guns was used in the fatal 2010 shooting of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry. Congress held then-Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt when he refused to turn over documents about the operation.
  • IRS abuses. Mr. Obama’s Internal Revenue Service did something Richard Nixon only dreamed of doing: It successfully targeted political opponents. The Justice Department then refused to enforce Congress’s contempt citation against the IRS’s Lois Lerner, who refused to answer questions about her agency’s misconduct.
  • Benghazi. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three others were killed in the attack on a U.S. diplomatic compound in Libya. With less than two months to go before the 2012 election, the State Department falsely claimed the attack was not a terrorist attack but a reaction to an anti-Muslim film. Emails from the secretary later showed that she knew the attack was terrorism. Justice Department prosecutors even convinced a magistrate judge to jail the filmmaker.
  • Hacking. Mr. Obama presided over the biggest data breach in the federal government’s history, at the Office of Personnel Management. The hack exposed the personnel files of millions of federal employees and may end up being used for everything from identity theft to blackmail and espionage. OPM Director Katherine Archuleta, the president’s former political director, had been warned repeatedly about security deficiencies but took no steps to fix them.

Completely ignoring the corruption doesn't mean it didn't exist.

Obama's administration was never going to bring charges in any of those cases and the media didn't hold them accountable.

I'm guessing you believe Bill Clinton accidentally ran into Lynch on that runway and they talked about grandkids?

Point of order. The Obama administration did investigate several of their corruption scandals. Unfortunately, they had the subjects of the corruption investigations investigate themselves. Just like the democrat primary---the fix was in from the start.
