Does anyone in here flip Real Estate?

I'm in oil and gas and it pays the bills. I have been around RE on the commercial side with my ex mother in law but am thinking of different ways to invest and I know RE is where most rich people (I am not rich) get their wealth. Anyone have any experience in this?

Rich people do not flip real estate. They buy it and sit on it. Its a long term investment.

If you're a "qualified investor", get in a private real estate fund especially if you're not a real estate expert.

My family has owned rental properties for about 5 years now. We flipped a house about a year ago and have since gone back to what we know (building and renting homes). I'm actually looking for people who are interested in investing in new construction homes for either rentals or selling them. There are likely others on here that could sure a lot more than I, but I'd be happy to share what I've learned along the way.
