Do we really need AR-15s?

You apparently don't hunt hogs. The 15 is a the perfect hog hunting weapon in my opinion. Perfect.
The BLM riots were more than enough to justify the need for and AR15. Group of low life's of any skin color, religion or sexual orientation try to loot my house or place of business they will be met with as many rounds as I can put down range.
23 pulls of the trigger with 9 rounds left over.
Interesting how things have changed. Got a few hogs in north Dallas back in the last century and didn't need an A-15.
We killed over 100 hogs last deer season between 6 of us on 1000 acres, didn't make a dent in them.
You hunt from a moving truck or a helicopter?
Those videos of hunters mowing down hogs from a copter looks like a blast.
Mostly out of our stands or with a night scope out in the fields.
I've been on one of those helicopter hunts. Expensive but was an absolute blast. Highly recommend.
Depending on where that 1000 acres is located it could potentially support well over 10x that many. In drier locations though, I would guess closer to 500.
They are prolific and destructive. Wish more people would hunt them.
Owning AR-15's is good. But in times like these, owning weapons of war would be better.

Of course. Hog hunting though in Texas is better served with an ar-15. Wild pig is good eating. My buds and I get together with our pigs and venison and probably produce right around 500lbs of sausage. We've a sausage making shindig every march or so.
