Is Chandler to Port A already built?
Chandler to Nederland Tx I guess..
Lot of jobs for Oklahoma and north to Canada....
The engineering alone will be massive.
Richter Scale must be factored in..

From what I read, TransCanada has to reapply and then Trump has ordered immediate review. They withdrew their application previously. So, approval will depend on the terms in their application, but the review and approval process won't be in 0bama years.

Approval process for all large projects will now be months not years.

Keystone studies show that it will actually reduce carbon emissions but that wasn't politically convenient for the greens so it was ignored by their politician lackeys.

your running oil by pipeline through unpopulated areas to texas instead of rail into philly

what about this is a bad idea
Nothing except making it easier to transport the dreaded, terrible, and climate change multiplier of 10 oil from the Canadian oil sands.

Helps my business...I'm no fan of TCPL but love the business this will bring (they are assholes to deal with...****ing Canadians).

My feelings exactly. I deal with TransCanada a lot in my business and they help us a great deal but they are massive assholes. But I'm laughing all the way to the bank...

You are not vehemently against this?

Moving oil thru a pipe versus truck, rail, or boat is a no brainer because moving oil thru a pipe creates no carbon emission in the transportation of the oil.

I want clean water and land, but if I have to choose between the suffering of 2,000 more dead birds, and 500 more deaths of livestock (not sure the pipe creates that) each year, I think that is a great exchange for the suffering people making $8 an hour and having to pay for gas at more than $3 a gallon. Do the math, cheaper gas is a way to help the poor, it is a major expense line for them.

the technological advances in the pipeline are pretty impressive. They can detect leaks quick and shut down that portion of the pipe if necessary. They patrol their own pipelines with their own aircraft flying less than 500 feet about ground in addition to all the safety measures in place. They said the biggest problem is the farmers with tractors! They've been doing this for years so it's not some new idea. They spend a lot of money to make sure they don't have any issues. It's a pretty safe method to transport fluids or gas.

That's usually what happens to our pipes, farmers know where the pipe is, we have markers all along the pipe, but they still some how cause a leak with their damn backhoe.
