In this article the following is a quote from Senator Warren:

“I see him as what happens when corruption invades a system that gets a little bit corrupt, and it gets a little more corrupt, and it gets a little more corrupt, and it gets bigger, and they get bolder and bolder and then you end up with someone like Donald Trump.”

Is this not basically saying: "Yea, the Washington I've been a part of for years has been corrupt. But Trump is even more corrupt than we (the last party in power) were. And we were more so than the guy before us." Is that not basically what she says in this quote?

By the way, she'd be right.

Do you believe Donald Trump has done anything since he’s been in office to fix the corruption in Washington instead of add to the problem?

I'd say yes. Do you think if Hillary is president that Warren makes any statements about how corrupt Washington has become. I have a bridge to sell you if you think the corruption she is referring to started in January of 2017. Trump may actually be worse than prior administrations (I doubt it, his issue is just that the prior benefactors are no longer), but regardless, he's made it visible. Future administrations from both parties will be cleaner and more closely monitored than ever before. So yes. He's opened the nation's eyes to what a cesspool D.C. has become, and it will change things in the future.

Do you honestly think this happens if Hillary is president?

So the guys he appoints work in the industry. That's now a bad thing? Maybe he should have appointed a 2nd grade school teacher to run the DoD instead? Did you have an issue when Obama nominees were board members of various Union organizations? Or does that fall under being pro-union (Democrat) is fine, but being pro-Business (Republican) is not?

In the end, Dems nominate bureaucrats (Obama's White House was full of individuals whose past 20 years had been spent working in various governments) whereas Republican's nominate corporate shills. Its the classic Government vs. Business debate that basically makes up the basic tenets of the Rs vs. Ds.
