True statement, although I think the premise is wrong. I personally don't care if celebrities talk about politics. They are allowed their opinions. I don't care if celebs get into politics. I just don't like them mixing politics into their entertainment. Taylor Swift can promote her candidates and positions as she likes. Oprah Winfrey can run for whatever office she wants. As I linked the article above, I don't mind that they interviewed John Legend for his political opinion. Heck, I was even interested enough to read it. I just wish it wasn't intermingled (or a core theme as its become for every reward show) with entertainment programming.
