Dear Leader

I'd love to see Trump throw a football through a tire. I'd like to see Trump just HOLD a football. Watching Trump do regular people things is hilarious, God bless the President of the United States.

Edit- Can you imagine Trump mowing the lawn? Standing in line to buy a gallon of milk?

You think it would be awkward like this guy who never did an honest day's work in his life either?

At least you admit he's never done an honest day's work in his life. I count that as progress!

Who, Trump? Please. Like I've ever thought he's done an honest day's work. But at least he has run something besides a community organizing campaign. And he's not a constitutional law professor who seemed baffled by the Constitution.

No! Not Trump. Obama's never done an honest day's work! Stupidly I thought Sys posted the pictures and made the comment.

Not sure I would say that Trump has much of an understanding of The Constitution either.

Not sure I would use the word "honest" to describe Trump.

Well, since his business dealings are shrouded in mystery we'll probably never know. You may very well be right. On the other hand can you think of a single politician in human history that was honest? Honest in his intentions as he told the public? Look at the Republican Party today. Have they ever been honest in a single proclamation? Repeal ObamaCare? Tax reform? To an extent the Democrats are a little more honest. They don't hide their utter disdain for individual freedom. They've become quite bold in telling us their desire to enslave us to the government. A pox on both parties!

Good lord, John Birch much? You just regurgitate John Birch talking points. What individual freedom do they have "utter disdain" for? Who has told us of their desire to enslave us to government? You really think that?

It's amazing how that John Birch shit is repeated so much.

That may be a first, an anarchist being called a John Bircher. It's not possible to have a conversation with someone whose modus operandi is to sling insults. It's really disappointing. You should be better than that.

Dan the messaging is identical. It's not an insult, the similarities are striking. It sure sounds the same.

Perhaps you mean the criticism of government is similar. But the messaging is decidedly different.

Well, yeah, criticism of government is a huge part of John Birch thought, and it appears to be basically the same as yours. How are you different?

I've got a good friend in Tulsa who is fond of saying how much better the world would be if everybody would just do what he says. The John Birch Society is no different from every political action group. Those folks are convinced America would be a better country if the people could just be forced to do what the Birch Society says. Just like every other political action group - left and right - just do what we say and everything will be peachy. Philosophical anarchists reject that notion. Do what you want as long as you don't violate my right to do the same. There is a huge discrepancy between the two attitudes.

John Birchers and libertarians are typically very different types of people in how they view the role of government. Birchers I've read about and met are usually more traditionalist than libertarian folk.

He did a helluva lot better running the White House than the current buffoon. Like his policies or not, but with similar levels of resistance Obama found a way not to step on his dick daily. Trump can't get out of his own way let alone get something useful done.

Beauty is always in the eye of the beholder. But 6 months in, I mostly agree with you. Trump has accomplished some policy that I agree with, but he distracts from any good he's done because he wears his giant ass around his neck like a supersized rhinestone laden ascot.

I agree the level of media BS is way over the top compared to Obama. But Trump could do himself some favors and just shut the hell up and do the stuff he needs to do. Start letting his actions define his presidency instead of his twitter account.

Stop worrying about Obama's legacy and start worrying about what his own legacy is going to be.

He could seriously eliminate about 80% of the media frenzy by stopping the childish Twitter rants. It's like backing a tanker truck of honey up to Winnie the Pooh. Of course he's going to eat all of it and then try to figure out how to keep the tankers coming. Stop sending tankers and let him find his own honey.

So true.

I think it makes it worse that this is so incredibly obvious. Even if it is not obvious to POTUS, because he is too stubborn/dumb to see it, it has to be obvious to member of his inner circle. Are they afraid to tell him? Or, do they tell him, and he ignores them?

When he was elected, I was saying, "I'm not a fan, but now that the election is behind him, surely he will grow up and stop acting like he is in junior high".

Still hasn't happened.

Agree completely. It's gotten even worse. Being an egomaniac childish prick on the campaign trail was one thing, but continuing that infantile shit instead of shutting up and letting accomplishments do the talking has been a yuge disappointment for me. His skin is so thin I'm surprised he doesn't get life threatening skin tears from putting clothes on.

Right? You must be sick to watch all this unfold real time.
