Dallas ends water fluoridation, saves a million

I'm monitoring this thread as well. We live in DFW and are tap water snobs so we get our water delivered from Sparklett's but we do get their fluoridated water. We've had Sparklett's for years and just did the spring water until 2 months ago we thought we'd try the fluoride. After reading that article I think I may switch back, yikes.

No offense to the OP, but that website links as "proof" of the negative effects of water fluoridation another site where some "doctor" (he may be, I don't know) kicks off the discussion by talking about how fluoride is a chemical, as if that's definitive proof of its evil-ness. Guess what? Everything is chemicals. When someone starts talking about evil chemicals and toxins, it's a safe bet you can write them off.

On the other hand, here's a link to the American Dental Association praising the benefits of fluoridation:
http://www.ada.org/en/public-progra...why-fluoride-in-water-is-good-for-communities

Here's a link to the Centers for Disease Control aggregating some studies and facts:
http://www.cdc.gov/fluoridation/

It states that fluoridation of water, despite the cost to the municipality, actually SAVES money over the long term because of the reduction in health care costs. From that second link, you can see that the CDC actually named water fluoridation as one of 10 great public health achievements of the 20th century.

My 15 year old has never had a cavity, eats a chit load of candy, and has never even showered in Floride water let alone drink it. That shit messes up your brain. I'm not gonna mess up my kids brain trusting people that says they need to Tax successful businesses because the earth will warm a half degree in the hundred years.

In other news, I getting a divorce so I can speak my mind, Jordan and Kaden Sterns's mom is hot, and after this thing is final, she need to holla at cha boy if she is Christian, conservative, and single.
