Well did it grab your attention?Im watching replay. If they don't set a hook, I'm done.
Well did it grab your attention?
Welcome to the club. lolNo but I'll probably watch it again next year.
I read about this when I was 11 or 12, in a copy of an old reader's digest my mom had held onto. (She had a small bookcase full of Reader's Digest as my aunt had bought her gift subscriptions to the magazine for over a decade.)I read the book when I was a kid.

I had kind of forgotten about it over the years, until I saw the name Oak Island pop up on TV listings. Funny in that the two guys currently doing the digging said they were both inspired by that very same Reader's Digest article.
I am pretty sure that was the last season. I bet it doesn't return unless they make some HUGE discovery. By huge I mean a bunch of gold and jewels.I'm pretty much done. I'll check in from time to time but the show wears me out...too much build up and little delivery.
Great to hear this. Of course I will always watch this show.
Yes it looks interesting at least from a historical aspect.Aren't the same guys doing a show about a treasure hunt with a civil war ship or something?
I thought the garnet and the lead cross they found were really cool. I would consider that treasure.
I'm watching. I love the show, but they draw stuff out so much. I wonder how many of the structures they're finding in Smith's Cove are from other searchers. I'm sure they'll carbon date all the wood to differentiate searcher vs. original. The concrete and possible Roman weapons are pretty crazy.Who is watching this year and what are your thoughts so far?
