How many times did he try to muscle Rubio out when it became mathematically impossible for him to win? Now he's playing for a brokered convention?

Loser. And I voted for him in the primaries bases on his Constitutional positions. Shame on me. And Carlie signing on to this hypocrisy is an embarrassment. She was my top choice early on.

Shame on both of them. I call bullshit on their previous "antiestablishment" claims.

He's a self-serving political whore like all the rest. Obviously, I'm not a fan of his because I can't stand the "smarter than you condescending attitude" that he projects. I'll go with "shallow", but hell, that fits 'em all.

If Trump is unable to get 1237 on the first vote, then shouldn't everybody in the race be playing this strategy, Trump included?

If he hadn't spent half his campaign trying to run everyone else out the moment they became unable to hit the magic number, sure. But since he did, he comes off as a major hypocrite now.

I see your point now, and I'm more on board with this if Trump, being unable to get 1237, drops out too!

I just think the scenario has changed now that it's likely that nobody will reach the magic number.

Cruz comes off to me as a mealy mouthed whiny pussy.

Hillary comes off as something I can't repeat on this board.

Bernie is a crazy dude but likeable

Kasich is a political cockroach

And Donald well I sure see how he rubs people the wrong way and may not be fit for the office but at the least he's got sand that's not between his vajajay

If Trump wins Indiana (which he will) it is over.

Cruz and Fiorina are just spinning their wheels at this point.

As someone who voted for him several times over the years, I understand and agree with much of this. In life, as well as politics, decisions made at one point in time which change 180 degrees later on, don't necessarily mean they are disingenuous. It means that time and circumstances have changed. I do agree that there is no reason to hang on when the math works against you except to toss a wrench into the wheel. That's my problem with the RNC and the establishment. They don't want to accept the will of the voters especially when the voters opt for someone other than their desired candidate or someone who is shaking up their apple cart.

I will defend Cruz to say he is one of a very small number of politicians who actually did what he said he would when running for office. Hence, the reason so many in the "establishment" hate him. He went to the Senate and tried to stop Obamacare when most of the other Senators advocated repealing and defunding Obamacare during their campaigns only to forget about their rhetoric immediately after the taking their oaths the first day of the new session. He said the top surprise he saw on entering the Senate was how fast the others ran from their promises to their constituents.

He is the most transparently synthetic, dogmatic, pompous, hypocritical candidate I've seen maybe ever. He talks like an old fashioned snake oil preacher. There's a reason even republicans hate him. Once again, Texas provides.

My best friend lives in Austin and told me the exact thing when he was here a couple weeks ago for my daughters wedding. He has been a supporter of his but is disappointed in his campaign now for sure.

I noticed you didn't use the adjectives most used for Hillary, dishonest and liar.

For all his faults he would be ten times the President the First Grifter would ever be.

Why would I mention HRC? Don't assume everyone is as dogmatic as you. And no -- he is one of the biggest pussies to ever run for office. When Donald attacked his wife in Twitter, he rose above it. A few hours later after the focus groups and handlers conferred, he exploded with synthetic rage. He literally manufactured faux-rage after he earlier blew it off. At least HRC has balls.

Even if you like Cruz, press play on this. It's truly weird and strange.....and difficult to stop watching.

Doesn't matter. Trump's going to get enough delegates when this is over.
I agree. Syster focusing on Cruze isn't worth getting into. Cruze's campaign is toast.

Time to get on to the main event. DJT vs. Crooked Hillary, grab your popcorn!
