Actually he said that their homicidal use requires a new crusade. I'm not sure what that means but that isn't necessarily a crusade against guns and all their other uses.

The guy along with the parkland shooter told people on social media and acquaintances what they were going to do and not shockingly they did it. Not sure how much more “telegraphing” one needs to deduce they are a valid threat.

I recall the night of or the night after Obama's first election Brokaw and Charlie Rose waxing eloquently about not knowing anything about Obama's background or belief system. The had 1-2 years beforehand to do reporter stuff but chose to play the Ostrich Game instead.
