""Winner takes all" takes on a whole new meaning here. Earl reports these regular visitors disappeared on December 8th with the winner returning eight days later, very hungry. One can only conclude that it took that long for the other deer to die and for the winner to sever its neck using hooves. I can't imagine how much effort that takes!" - Walt Larsen, Outdoor Writer
