We dumped cable back in July and they readjusted our bill in August, which was fair and based on what we had paid. We get this month's bill and there's a $35 charge for tv. My wife called and they said it was a charge for the available apps that we could watch on our devices. We've never done that and it was an obvious slam on the bill. Be aware.

Unless you pay for Netflix through Cox (which you can do), Cox doesn’t charge for apps, so if someone really said that they were incorrect.

Everything is through Apple TV. My wife made the call and that’s exactly what they said.

Then either 1) someone lied to you or was greatly mistaken. - or - 2) your wife misunderstood. - or - 3) you still have some cable tv connection you are not aware of.

I would call back and find out what the $35 charge really covers and then get it deleted. If your video is thru Apple TV the you should not have any video charge from Cox.
