Both sides, in their extremes, are ruinous. Kansas/Oklahoma and Illinois/California are examples of the extremes of both sides. The trouble with the left is that their extreme has become the norm, they've moved the goalposts drastically to the left over the last 15 years on their side.

Conservative policies haven't been what has hurt Oklahoma. Idiot politicians have. That said, the state raked in tons of money when oil was booming and never thought to look at spending and now that all that revenue is gone, we are in a world of hurt.

Okay. Let's talk about California. With a republican-led state government, didn't their deficit skyrocket? Now Moonbeam is back, and the budget has done very well. I don't understand why you used California as an extreme -- they have a strong republican influence. There are other states that simply don't. Look at several New England states if you want longtime liberalism.

While on the subject, how is that Obama led economy doing? Must be operating in the black with those well defined and executed budgets we've had the past 7 years, especially with things like Obamacare that were heralded as deficit reducing. Man, if Obama had just done a better job of selling us all, we might realize what an amazing, explosive record growth economy we're all experiencing...

It's actually pretty good. You should compare the economic performance of the last year of his presidency compared with that of the last two "conservative" presidents.

Yes, being the only president in modern US history to fail to log even one year of GDP growth above 3% is quite good, stellar actually, if you like failure. And at that pace, he'll log the fourth worst economic term of all presidents. Quite an accomplishment. His stimulus package for shovel ready jobs and infrastructure? It was a decent bailout for Democratic ruled cities and states, but nothing else. And you might want to actually revisit your claims about the past two conservative presidents as compared to Dickless in Chief.

Why are you even concerned about any economy anyhow? The most pressing issues facing humans on this very planet according to your side's brainiacs are what restrooms folks can use, the horrible threat to mankind that is climate change and the evil climate deniers, and Trump the Hitler fascist being possibly elected to become overlord and take the welfare paychecks from those chronically employed by the government.

You suck at this "blame the Republicans stuff," but you suck worse at being honest and the Second Amendment, so at least you have this more limited failure going for you Cupcake.
