I got my concealed carry permit about a month ago and I'm looking for some advice for a new pistol. I want something small, light and not very noticable but still a good weapon. Brand and caliber not as important as being reliable and functionable. Any suggestions?

I generally carry this Kel-tec P32 in .32. Lots carry it in (and the Ruger) in a .380. Very small and lightweight. I just put it in my pants, jeans and shorts pocket along with the cell. Once open carry arrives I will care less about imprinting.

Now, some will get on here and say that my gun is not big enough, not enough power, etc. but reality is that you need to get a gun that you will actually carry and use. I have a XD .40 sub-compact but the thing is still bulky, weighs a ton, etc. Ain't no way I am carrying that around everywhere.

I am not of the notion that if I am somehow forced to pull my gun that it will be in a fight against 6 armed hooligans but rather it will probably be a 1 on 1 situation where an assailant is not expecting me and my pocket pistol. The gun is louder then hell. Things that go bang cause bad guys to run. Also, it does have enough power that if hit, the guy will go down. If not, he is probably running which means he is away from me and those with me.
