Another thing I don't understand, and this may have been touched upon in another thread, if we were going to distribute up to $3 trillion out-of-pocket, why not take that and use it to fix our own problems at home? Not just pollution problems but roads, bridges, and anything else that's falling apart.

Or even better, let the American people keep the three trillion dollars that belongs to them to spend as they each decide.

Bloomberg claims he's stepping up and going to give the UN $15 million from his charity to cover some costs. Good for him. That's exactly how this Paris agreement should be funded. I wonder how much Gore, Obama, and Hillary are going to give.
