I think it was Berry Tramel (can't remember), but his take on this team was pretty good. If I remember right, he said:
* This team is being overlooked
* This is a 10 win team
* This team will compete for the conference championship
* James Washington is the real deal and was capable of dominating
* Jordan Burton was amazing and possibly our best player
Pretty accurate take. There were not too many outside of the OSU faithful who gave us much thought. 10+ wins is now very, very likely. We are right in the mix for the conference championship and a shot at the playoffs.
Boom Boom Washington was inconsistent early in the year, but he is turning into a beast now and teams are going to have to scheme specifically for him, along with Mason, our other wideouts, our newfound run game, and the Walsh package. On a side note, we may by the toughest offense to prepare for in the country.
Burton is not our teams best player, but you can definitely see what Tramel was seeing. He is very, very good and makes plays. Happily, he is one of about 14 guys who are consistently making plays on that side of the ball.
