Coen Bro's TV Western - "The Ballad of Buster Scruggs"

Not much known as yet, only that it will be a "limited" Series and it will involve 5 or 6 story lines and set in the old west. I loved their remake of True Grit and will be interested to see what they can bring to the table with an original western.

Sometimes I think back to when I was a kid and it seemed like 30%+ of all the TV shows were westerns. Now, they are so few and far between.

I don't believe they've sold it yet. I'd bet on Amazon or FX.

I think they'll probably put it out for bids as it would likely end up in a bidding war (especially if they include rights for spin-offs and sequels.)

I would assume that they would only be interested in a media outlet without censorship rules applying, but with a large audience base...... so netflix, amazon, hbo, etc.
