Last March when asked if Biden can handle the economy 66% of Democrats said yes.

I saw a MSNBC article that was critical of the Biden administration and democrats. It's getting a bit chippy for the dear party. The comrades are starting to realize what they actually voted for. That two year mark will be critical mass for Biden. It's not looking like he will even finish his term.

Well, Democrats had rejected him to be their candidate for president numerous times when he was in his “prime” (i use that term very loosely). It looks like they were right to reject Brandon in the 80s and 90s and foolish to settle for him as their candidate in 2020

I've become a near regular of Lester Holt NBC Nightly News. Brandon has become a regular target for NBC hit pieces. This is not good for the former Democrat Party.

This isn't a surprise at all. Our nation is highly partisan at the moment, and has been for a while. Biden's numbers are very similar to Trump's numbers. If I remember correctly, at this point in his term, Trump's approval ratings were in the mid-30s.
Whoever is President during our current political environment is going to see these types of numbers. The division in our nation is strong. Everyone has chosen sides, and those in the middle bounce around all the time.

You leave out one key detail. The MSM was in constant attack mode against Trump where they have been in constant fluffer mode for Biden. Trump's numbers were bad because of media manipulation, Biden's numbers are bad because he is failing miserably. Imagine if the MSM were covering Hunter the way they would if it were one of Trump's kids. How different would the Ukraine problem, Inflation, Jobs, the price of fuel, price of groceries and everything else that is falling apart under Biden if it were Trump?
Those who didn't like Trump said the same thing about him when his approval was in the mid-30s. Those who supported Trump disagreed. Now, each side has switched. Saying what the other side was saying four years ago.
All based on which party the person sitting in the White House is a member of.

What I am saying is that it doesn't matter how the economy is doing or most other issues. One side will attack the other side for being wrong on the economy while the other side will defend its side to the death. It is all about partisan politics.
No Democrat receives anywhere near the negative coverage any Republican receives. If you want to blame someone for the divide blame the MSM. The MSM is so biased even Democrat voters have started to see it. Trump was right, the MSM is the enemy of the people.
In every poll, I always lend careful study to SAMPLE DATA. When Quinnipiac samples 954 Dimms and 465 Pubs guess Trump's approval.

Trump's low ratings were due to his ill advised comments and vocabulary. You do remember the "grab her pussy" statement. Biden's low ratings are due to his pure stupidity in the execution of his office. Trump took us to energy independence. Biden took us to oil production shutdown and buying from Russia. Apples and Oranges Einstein.
Under the first Bush, the NY Times regularly did homeless stories. The Times took 8 years off under Clinton. Homeless stories became newsworthy again under the second Bush.
A Palin daughter spat with a buddy during a sleepover was front page at the Times. A Biden son dismissed from the Navy for drug use made page 29A.
I do blame the mainstream media and the conservative media for encouraging the division. They are both part of the problem in this country.
As for being the enemy of the people, Trump claimed the mainstream media was the enemy of the people and Democrats think conservative media is the enemy of the people. Both are wrong in my view. The media is simply a reflection of the people.
I can remember having Democratic friends telling me that Trump's low ratings was due to his stupidity and how horrible he was performing as President. I had a friend tell me when Trump lost in 2020, American had rejected stupidity. I told him, just wait, a new form of stupidity would take office on January 20 according to half of Americans.
For many, it all depends on which side they align with as to who is stupid, who is successful, and so on. Most everyone has picked a side and their side is always right, of course.
