Dude, you show up here with some of the lamest shit. Where were you when President Obama had Churchill’s bust removed from the White House?
It was lame.
I honestly think he backed out because of the public humiliation of what would happen with his hair. I'm very serious about this.
You guys are right. Trump should have attended. Just like Obama should have attended the Memorial Day wreath laying ceremony at the tomb of the unknown soldier and attending the Arlington Cemetery services.
But, Obama...
I didn't but Obama anything. I did an AND Obama. But, Obama...
Sounds like something a malignant narcissist would do. Someone should educate him on this new invention. I think they call it a “hat”.
Talk about some lame shit.* Churchill's bust that was in the oval office was moved to just outside the Treaty Room near the private quarters of the President, during Obama's term. It was basically switched with a bust of Lincoln. (BTW, there are two different Churchill busts in the White House.)
Now, let's get back to the primary question: How lame was it for Trump to blow off attending the celebration of the 100th Anniversary of WWI, because of a light rain? Especially, when the leaders of GB, Canada, France, Germany, etc., could make it, along with the current Chief of Staff who could make it to the final resting place of over 2,000 Marines and US Army Soldiers, interred at the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery.
*This "whataboutism" bullshit is wearing me out.
All he would have to do in this case is have a Marine stand at attention with one arm extended and holding an umbrella over his presidential hairdo. It was lame.
I honestly think he backed out because of the public humiliation of what would happen with his hair. I'm very serious about this.
What? Are you saying you refuse to accept symbolism over substance? That’s downright unAmerican! If I opened a news web page and there was an article about Trump visiting a WW1 cemetery and laying a wreath, I wouldn’t open the link. I just wouldn’t.
I’ve seen this before. The president rests his hand lightly on the top of the wreath and baby steps forward while somebody else actually lifts the stand and back pedals the wreath into place. So contrived as to be ridiculous and meaningless.
Most every President in the last 40 years has been a narcissist (with the exception of W. and Jimmy Carter -- and I'm not certain about them!).
What year was that and what was Obama doing during that same time? You guys are right. Trump should have attended. Just like Obama should have attended the Memorial Day wreath laying ceremony at the tomb of the unknown soldier and attending the Arlington Cemetery services.
Incorrect on the bust(s):Talk about some lame shit.* Churchill's bust that was in the oval office was moved to just outside the Treaty Room near the private quarters of the President, during Obama's term. It was basically switched with a bust of Lincoln. (BTW, there are two different Churchill busts in the White House.)

It looks like you got that information from Snopes, lol. Oops, too bad C-SPAN exists...What year was that and what was Obama doing during that same time?
You do know that President George H.W. Bush, NEVER placed a wreath at Arlington during his term as President and Reagan was only present for 4 of his 8 yrs don't you? (So long as we're going to keep playing the "whataboutism" bs game.)
Correct on the Bust(s) the one everyone is talking about (the one that was in the oval office was "on loan" from the British Govt was supposed to be returned upon Bush leaving.) It was replaced with busts of Lincoln and MLK, with the Churchill bust moved to a pedestal outside the treaty room. The duplicate was in fact returned to the British by the Bush administration and was at the home of the British Ambassador, until it was returned, on loan once again, to the Trump Administration.
