I have mentioned on here before that I frequently compare players to other players they remind me of. For example, Tavarius Shine is a Terrell Harris clone. Brandon Sheperd is almost identical to Nelson Agholor former USC WR.

Indy has mentioned that Carson is similar to Daniel Thomas who played at KSU. I think he is a tad faster than Thomas though. Anyways, I just figured out who Carson reminds me of and it is pretty much a slightly skinnier and faster version of Daniel Thomas. I am sitting here watching the 2015 Cotton Bowl between Baylor vs. Mich St. Carson is going to be pretty similar to Jeremy Langford I think. Very similar size. I think Carson might be slightly slower (Langford ran a 4.42 at the combine) but a little better when it comes to running with physicality and breaking tackles. Basically, I think he will be a mix of Daniel Thomas and Jeremy Langford.

If Carson is even remotely close to that, we should be very happy. Those guys ran for an average of 280 carries, 1,450 yards (5.2 yds per carry) and 18 TDs per year. I think Carson is easily set up to have 210 carries at 5.2 yds per carry. That would give him 1,092 yards and ~13 TDs based on similar production metrics at 210 carries.
