Highlights from the link. Boom goes the dynamite....Obama and dems lied....big surprise.

-Government will spend $1.993 TRILLION over a decade and take in $643 BILLION in new taxes, penalties and fees related to Obamacare
- The $1.35 trillion net cost will result in 'between 24 million and 27 million' fewer Americans being uninsured - a $50,000 price tag per person at best
- The law will still leave 'between 29 million and 31 million' nonelderly Americans without medical insurance
- Numbers assume Obamacare insurance exchange enrollment will double between now and 2025

The first page of the report clearly states that it is only analyzing the insurance and penalties portion of the ACA and ignoring the effects of the other provisions (such as changes to Medicare). When the CBO originally analyzed the whole of the ACA they found it to be budget neutral, this CBO analysis finds the costs to be 20% lower than projected. You would have to be a partisan hack to make this CBO report out to be bad news for the ACA.

That $50,000 per person price tag is over a decade, so it comes out to $5000 per person per year, which is about what you would expect it to cost to insure a person.

It's never been about money or getting insured. It's about the government controlling your healthcare and as a result, you.

Feel free to make new topic about that, but in this thread we are talking about the money and the number of people insured.

It is strange to me that people feel no shame for being treated like rubes. This is simply misinformation meant to take advantage of innumerate people with poor reading skills, and no one is ashamed about fitting the bill.

Wow, this making stuff up thing is way easier than making sense.

Usually if you are the one making the outrageous claim, you are the one expected to come up with the supporting evidence.
