For the first time in years I am not dreading the next OSU hoops season and trying to figure out how many years we will be held hostage with poor coaching. We will be limited next year will an incomplete roster but that is nothing new for us. Underwood will make these guys understand that there is no good reason to lose at home and it won't be accepted. When border line fans believe that you will win at home you tend to pick up better crowds which in turn feeds the players effort.
Last year fans realized if OSU was not ahead double digit late in the game we would probably find a way to lose. When the majority of OSU season ticket holder have a 4 hour round trip to watch an 8 pm game the losing mentality causes people to watch the misery at home.
I think our returners will play with a new attitude and resolve. Our fans know what great play and effort looks like and we as fans will be more loyal and vocal.
I am ready for the return of the days when our players were bad asses and rivals did not enjoy playing us and expected to get their asses handed to them.
I am looking for an Olus Holder, Byron Houston and Tony Allen type player in our future.
