Honest question: Does anyone think this action by Canada (and its relative support in the global community) will drive the further adoption of decentralized currencies (aka crypto)? Crypto has already been a haven for 'criminal financial transactions', so if you start making a large portion of the populace criminals, does that drive them to such platforms?

I have to admit, I was wrong about the Patriot Act. I heard the concerns but thought the positives outweighed the negatives. I was naive about it and very wrong.

I was leery of the Patriot Act but went along with it because it had an expiration date. I naively didn't consider it would be renewed and made permanent.

The world mafia (US Government) will dig its claws into Bitcoin as well- so the biggest criminals on the planet (US gov/cabal) use all means to enrich themselves- fiat currency, precious metals and now bitcoin. They can't regulate it so they will just seize it

I would say yes, but caveat that with I don't think crypto is going to protect you or the criminals. You may see an initial bump, but government will figure that one out as well.
