Just go out to Sunday brunch in any of those cities and you’ll see tables full of groups of exactly those women (usually checking their smartphones every 30 seconds). They’re today’s version of the “Sex in the City” demographic. It’s pretty sad, and yes, part of it is absolutely men’s fault.

Why is anyone surprised by this when there are open borders and few, if any, of the illegals get public health screenings? There is a reason why there are increases in STDs, tuberculosis, and other communicable diseases thought to be eradicated or under control before the influx of illegal immigrants.

What is "disgusting" about it? He's spot on. Live in NYC for a few months and you'll see exactly what he described. It is really sad. I saw it myself with some of my friends I grew up with. They would treat completely fine guys who would make excellent husbands/fathers like crap while they were going through their "fun" phase. It was really sad when the music stopped when they were in their early-mid 30s and realized that they had completely squandered their prime spouse-seeking years.
One of my friends went through this and by her mid-30s had become desperate and was dating guys she wouldn't have looked at twice ten years earlier. Finally got married at 37 and wanted to have a baby. It is three years later and she hasn't been able to get pregnant. Really, really sad.

These situations (and female demographic) are extremely common, specifically in the cities that experienced large Gen X / Millennial influxes over the past 15 years.
(Definitely in established places like NYC, but also in emerging “hot spot” cities — usually mid-sized cities with lots of tech jobs, so they would attract new migrants not from the area)
This situation is truly unique to the 21st century, and there are a lot of different factors at play.
One of the key factors is technology and smartphones, which has radically transformed (in less than a decade) how people meet others.
Wish I had more time to elaborate, but the smartphone apps disrupted “dating” almost as profoundly as they disrupted the taxi industry ( Uber) and vacations (air bnb).
The skyrocketing STD rates from the last five years (a brief period) is one of the early effects.
Ironically, a new CDC report came out yesterday showing US fertility rates just hit a 40-year low.
The only age group fertility increased is in women over 40.
