Fix loses to Magomedov of Russia 3-2. He was leading on criteria 2-2 late in the third when apparently he was penalized for stalling-never saw that call. It was a very close match. Fix had the only takedown but the Russian was the aggressor for the most part. Very Disappointing but he gave his all.

Had to come back for one last comment before 11am.I watched the Fix match live where he lost 3-2 to the Russian and just now watched it again. The call with about 15 seconds to go in the match tied 2-2 with criteria in Daton's favor was made by the referee at the edge of the mat. He called fleeing the hold which was ridiculous as they were locked up and no one had the advantage. No way for Daton to come back and for a referee to determine the match like that in the waning seconds is just not right IMO. Give credit to Daton as he did not argue the call and shook hands graciously with the Russian opponent. Not criticizing the Russian as he also wrestled a great match but when you win with two pushouts and a penalty as opposed to a solid takedown you are skating on thin ice.

Daton Fix dominated his opponent in both periods and when he heard his Momma, Stacee Fix yell "Finish when leading 11-2 he picked up Abrazamian over his head and launched a 4 point move. You could hear Stacee the whole match. Congrats Daton on a Bronze Medal.!

Magomedov of Russia loses to Otoguro of Japan 13-6. He was on the wrong end of a couple of questionable calls but showed no class when he picked up two penalty points for slapping his opponent several times in a bum rush at the end. Otoguro is a great wrestler.

Jarod Verkleeren made it "kleer" he was the champion at 63 kg with a takedown in the 2nd and four leg laces for an 11-0 victory and a gold medal Congrats Jarod!

Gable Steveson had a 9-0 dec. over Rakhimov of Khasanboy Rakhimov of Uzbekistan to claim Gold. USA finished with 2 Golds, a Bronze and a 5th place match on the 2nd day added to a Gold and Bronze on Day I for a great finish.
