“Everyone tried but we have to do more and try. We have to play harder and better or you’ll get beat like we did tonight.” It’s my job to see that this team is ready to play every night. I have to get this team ready to play the next game at Texas and I think we will be ready.”
I have to feel for Boynton trying to keep this team together and continuing to play hard with basically 6 players. You can’t wave a magic wand and expect this team’s defense will get much better. Our offense is what it is. We are offensively challenged against good defensive teams. Don’t really know what to expect for the remaining games. Hopefully this game was an aberration and we can at least be somewhat competitive in the rest of our games. Not saying we are going to win them, only that we won’t have to sit through what we did tonight.
