Bow Season

Where are you guys going to be hunting? I'll be near Weatherford. We got a late start on the food plots, so I'm not sure how I'll do. I'm glad that we have a bye this week.

I'll be up in NW OK, about 8 miles south of Woodward. Late start on food plots as well, but have had feeders running year round. I'll be manning the video camera most of the weekend, but may pick the bow up.

Looking for a new spot since we moved up to Edmond! Its hard to drive back down to the home place to hunt on day and then be back so I am not going to hunt until gun season unless I find something a little closer to the new home.

I went over to the public hunting at Canton and stuck a little doe. River is dry so I just walked down river until I found a crossing and sat down against the bank.

I saw lots of deer, but only one shooter. He was a mature 8 point. He got within 90 yards and then followed some deer away from me.

The field next to where I hunt has peanuts this year, and the deer are all over that place.
