Bob Dole, a former U.S. Senator and Republican Party presidential nominee, died Sunday morning. He was 98.

I could never get myself to vote for the guy at the time, but when compared to today's elected filth in DC (many on both sides of the aisle), he was one of the great patriots and veterans. RIP Senator.

EDIT: Not that it matters, but it was John McCain I could not vote for. Dole got my vote.

I always liked Dole. Goofy as hell, but seemed decent enough as far as career politicians go. On most things, he was the type of GOPer that I liked.
