There were a few discussions about where Jakeem Grant and David Glidden fit in the Big 12 hierarchy of receivers last week. I thought we'd rank these guys this week instead of just listing them by team.
Have to average 5 targets/game to get on the lists. That leaves out a lot of good players (like Marcell Ateman, Jay Lee and Kolby Listenbee), but no one that isn't getting that many balls thrown at them is going to make an All Big 12 team either...
That leaves 16 players, and none of them from Texas.
Total targets
- 92 - Josh Doctson, TCU (8 games)
- 92 - Jakeem Grant, Texas Tech (9 games)
- 75 - Corey Coleman, Baylor
- 58 - Allen Lazard, Iowa State
- 57 - Sterling Shepard, Oklahoma
- 55 - James Washington, Oklahoma State
- 53 - David Glidden, Oklahoma State
- 52 - Reginald Davis, Texas Tech
- 49 - Dede Westbrook, Oklahoma
- 48 - KD Cannon, Baylor (7 games)
- 48 - Quenton Bundrage, Iowa State (8 games)
- 48 - Devin Lauderdale, Texas Tech (9 games)
- 46 - Shelton Gibson, West Virginia (7 games)
- 46 - Deante Burton, Kansas State (7 games)
- 42 - Tre' Parmalee, Kansas
- 39 - Javon Durante, West Virginia
