So let me get the math down. You want to increase the cost of making these fans by 80 million dollars. Thus driving half your manufacturers out of business or straight to communist countries. This will according to our own government drive up the cost of each fan by 10 dollars (which is most likely too low a number) but does not account for the companies that go out of business because of this "energy improvement". They also tell me that don't worry you will recoup your ten dollars in five years. Boy that must be some real energy savings there. Now realistically since the price will go up by 20 to 50 dollars I won't get my money back by 10 to 20 years, but since you made this change my fan won't last beyond 5 years. Thus never recovering anything but instead spending more money and paying more taxes. Yup sounds like a winner for the American people.
