Mark Packer of SiriusXM radio channel 84 posed this question today.
For my $, I am all about the 80's.
The 80's featured the best QB's of all time, Marino, Kelly, Elway, Aikman
The best running backs of all time, Barry Sanders, Thurman Thomas and Herschel Walker!
The decade of the 80's was football nirvana. The way football was meant to be played. You had option, you had smashmouth, you had teams like BYU and Miami throwing it around the yard like no one had ever seen before.
Hell, I can stop my hatred for a nano second and give it up to the zeros down south for suing the establishment and opening the flood gates for college football games to be shown 7 nights a week!
The 80's were the cultural rebirth of college football madness taken to the next level for mainstream America.
Come on Man! I dare you to tell me I'm wrong.
