We've heard so much accusing and blame from the right about our inner cities, I'm looking forward to some real solutions once and for all from the conservatives.
Most of them, the ones with the greatest problems, have been governed by Democrats for decades.
Oh yes. We've heard that non-stop on these boards. I am looking forward to Mr. Trump, the Republican Senate, Republican House and supreme court finally getting it fixed with sensible conservative policies.
The truth hurts doesn't it? The cities will still be governed by crap Democrat grafters.

Are there any areas with predominately republican governance that aren't doing well? I notice that topic doesn't drive a lot of posts around here for some reason.
You're already polishing your excuse -- it's the democrats' fault. Now that is such a surprise. The supremacy clause and total republican control of the federal government means there are no such excuses. Time to finally put up or shut up. This will be interesting. I hope they deliver. He's certainly handled everything else deftly to this point.
Besides that, what are the dem city governments gonna do to defeat Trump's inner city initiative? Waste block grants?
Is there a plan other than walling them in?
Are there any cities in the nation that have had 50-80 years of unfettered Republican government?

I have no ****ing clue what party the vast majority of mayors are from. I never argued that no Democrat mayors or city governments have done a good job. Sorry your Pinot swirled your mind so that an obvious point eluded you.
Name the liberal success stories? Look what happened to New York from gulianni to krusty the clown.
San Francisco is a perfect example. Gays and poors are being run out in droves. The whole left coast is haves and have nots. Skid row and Hollywood are how many miles apart? Liberal case studies exist.
