See the problem with these games (for both sides) is they just escalate. So in 2024 when the Dems decide to run a moderate candidate that does get elected President, he or she will have to wait 3 months before any of the cabinet positions get approval. And the next president will wait 6...eventually you won't get cabinet members unless you get elected to a second term. I love politics.
That said, your second quote is actually right. The Repubs at this point should just ramrod them through with up-down votes.
I didn't say it was. But, it's good to get your full cabinet in before making judgments on their admin's job. I'm skeptical about each so we will see.
