Just drove their stadium for the first time. My overall impression was underwhelming. I'm sure it is an improvement over what they had. At least it's located near the campus and not 5 miles away. But, it doesn't look like a college stadium. I've seen well over 50 college stadiums, and it would rank in the bottom half, at least. It looks like something from Star Wars, or a gigantic toilet lid.
The surrounding area outside the campus leaves much to be desired, as well. Run down houses, old strip centers near the front of the campus. I can see why they post pictures of the stadium at night. Daylight doesn't help them a bit. The stadium looks cheap from the outside. I'm not sure what it's like on the inside.
The campus is nice. Off campus, not so much.
By the way, I dislike that school for a bunch of reasons. Second rate snobs who have no justification for being snobbish. Blatantly easy non-conference schedules for them to run up scores and crow about their high powered offenses, while playing no one that can punch them in the mouth.
