The woman supposedly has a degree in some international "studies" curriculum from Boston College. She sounded like a fool trying to discuss the Israel-Palestine issue.
They let the guy she defeated in the primary on the ballot for November, so it is very likely.

That's the rub. He sought the nomination, and he won it before losing the democratic nomination. Now in order to be removed from the ballot he has to move out of the district, die, or run for a different office. The have asked him to run for a different office and he refuses.

In fairness she is a not yet elected candidate for the House.
I bet if you grilled most first term congress people you could get similar dumbness.
She has even less experiences, within the political realm, than most first term congress peeps.
But, she is also lacking in basic bullshit. Most people can fake their way through an answer when they are sketchy on the fine details.

She’s a rookie making rookie mistakes. Bernie is taking her under his wing helping to mentor her. Regardless of all her backfires the socialist wing of the Democratic Party recognizes she’s all they’ve got (for now at least). She’s very young, acceptably attractive, has shown she can win, is fully committed to the cause. All she needs is a little seasoning. That’s what Bernie is doing, showing how to keep your cool under various circumstances. She’s the darling of the media. They will not betray her until someone better comes along.

If she mean turning the seat red as in communistic that is worse than not knowing it was already a red seat versus a blue seat.
