Yawn. Did your dreams of Mueller getting Trump die already? Mueller had a great team of partisan hacks for 22 months with an unlimited budget and still couldn't get anywhere close to Ken Starr's numbers. What happened?

When Bill Clinton uttered the sentence, "It depends on what the meaning of the word is is," a new style of political rhetoric was born. With that one sentence leftists and liberals learned to parse every sentence, every word, never give an inch, never admit defeat, never apologize, attack, attack, attack. Ignore any setback, pretend it never happened, call it old news.
We see the result on this board in this thread. Sys, Pilt and Pokeabear advise you to read the Mueller Report with great care, that it doesn't really say what it says, that there is no exoneration, that Trump remains as guilty as he was before, when they were touting that Mueller would bring him down. It is fruitless for you to try and talk intelligently with them, they refuse to listen, and say you are being the obstinate one. It's a lesson Slick Willie taught them and they will apply it to the end.
It is a common liberal trick to insist that words and sentences have specific meaning rather than just a general gestalt.
It is indeed a trick! We both know it. It's a trick designed to delay, delay, keep the hope alive that what the left wants to believe can somehow magically become reality. Parse every word! Wear your opponent down with the tactic, frustrate him until he gives up, at which point your side gains an edge. And an edge is all that's needed to delay some more. We see it playing out on this thread. You know and I know that Trump has overcome the lie of collusion. But if you can stretch it out a little longer it will give your side time to create a new path of attack. It's silly for you to pretend otherwise. Any reasonably intelligent person can see what's happening.

The left has talked about nothing but collusion for over two years. The left assured us that Mueller is the right man to bring Trump down. Indictments are only a short time away. Well, Mueller didn't bring Trump down, which has left you and your team scrambling to find a new avenue of attack. But in the meantime you and your team need to get your feet back under you. Parse everything! Insist that "words have meaning," except when they don't mean what you want them to mean, then deflect and attack from another angle. What is it now? Obstruction? Of course Mueller wanted to bring Trump to his knees on obstruction, your team insists, but in the end he just couldn't amass enough evidence, so now the Congress will have to do Mueller's job for him. But whatever you do, don't admit a setback, it's only a delay. Read the report! It doesn't say what the Trump supporters think it says. There's code hidden within the report that the Congress will decipher and finally victory will be achieved. It's politics 2019 at its best.
