Another ebola case? marines to Liberia? ISIS coming in thru Mexico?

Nothing to worry about. Trust what the government tells you. The government loves us and will protect us.

And speaking of ebola, a Dallas Co. sheriff's deputy is being tested for it.
1. When?! Where? Who are the agents? Who are the ISIS guys? Did they have papers? Were they working together? Mega, care to take a bet whether any credible source backs up the congressman? I'm sniffing another conservative imagining up a crisis.

2. The deputy doesn't have ebola.

Are you really such a jock sniffing sycophant that you can't even acknowledge dangerous things just because they happen under Ahl'Bombya's watch?

Do you honestly think it's unthinkable that a well-funded organization like ISIS, with the stated goal of creating mischief in mainland America, is coming up through our swiss cheese border? I'm sure someone will think it's racist of me to point out that some ISIS members could easily pass for non-English speaking undocumented Mexican nationals. Hell they probably can get affordable health care easier than I can for my small business.

I think it would be more shocking if they weren't here but yeah - conservative imagining, I guess.

Good for the deputy. I'm glad to hear that ebola's not a thing now.

Marines are not doctors or humanitarians, they are killing machines, and are better at their job than sharks. Respect to the Marines.

Just read Piers Morgan went on Hanity, did a double take, then I read what he said, did another double take. What he said was he had read that Obama had spent something like 850 hours on a golf course, and only 650 hours in his daily intelligence briefings. Are those numbers close to accurate? I believe they are, and very telling as to why ISIS is kicking his behind.

I'm much more concerned with the three guys huddled up in an apartment in Hamburg or some other transient city than I am ISIS.

News flash, those guys are ISIS.

No they aren't. They've been around long before ISIS and will be around long after. It's an illustration of the "lone wolf" scenario. Like the Chechnyan kids in Boston.

ISIS is a bunch of locals trying to capitalize on the unrest locally. Sure they spout anti-American bullshit, but they aren't organized enough and lack top level intellegence (at this point) to pose any real threat. Their anti-American propaganda is simply a recruiting tool.

The western educated, lone wolf (yes I realize I said three guys, but you get my point) are the ones that scare me. There isn't much you can do about them until you've discovered some plot because they make a mistake. With groups like ISIS and AQ they are known entities so intellegence gathering is easier.

If you don't think that the lone wolf's are not watching ISIS videos and being inspired by ISIS I don't know what to say.

ISIS is not a bunch of local fanatics, people around the world are signing on to their doctrine including western women who are following them regardless of whether they can get to were they are or not.

Oh I agree with that. Fanatics will always latch on to other fanatical doctrine so as long as it matches up with their core beliefs. What I'm saying though is that it isn't the ISIS movement itself, or AQ or whatever the next extremist group that comes along that scares me. It's the people on the fringe. Those that typically are too smart to directly align themselves with any sort of "mass" (and I use that term loosely) movement, those that have had experience living in the west and are highly educated. Those are the people that scare me. Like I said above, they are impossible to track effectively because they work in the shadows in small tight knit groups.

And like I mentioned above as well, movements will always come and go. Fall in and out of favor. These individuals aren't dependent on some sort of rallying cry. They are too intelligent for that. Think McVeigh or the marathon bombers. The true nuts.

ISIS won't be a terrorist group here in the U.S. They will be misguided individuals separately committing workplace violence.

Explain the logic of pulling troops out of Iraq, and not using them against ISIS because boots on the ground encourages casualties, and invites attack. Yet we send boots on the ground into West Africa to combat a contagion that has a higher lethality rate that IEDs. So using the same logic does putting boots on the ground in West Africa encourage our Marines to contract Ebola? There is definitely something not adding up here.

So what exactly are the marines doing in West Africa? Are they on quarantine zone enforcement duty? Shoot anyone who tries to leave? I ask this question legitimately...what value do American Marines provide in combating a viral disease in West Africa? At least when Bush sent troops to the Middle East, they had a purpose. I'm having trouble finding any purpose or rationale for sending our troops.

What better way to further decimate our military than to pass a highly virulent virus with no known cure through the troops?

The military does have a biological warfare training, and some units are there specifically to keep the rest of the military in the fight in the event of biological and/or chemical attacks. This may have been one of those units, but wouldn't this also then beg the next question. Why do you need to send Marines specifically trained in counter-biological warfare? Answer: because the virus they are fighting is weapons grade.

Well lets see. USA today:

The Army's 101st Airborne Division, based at Fort Campbell, Ky., will provide about 700 of those soldiers, while the other 700 will be mostly combat engineers culled from Army units across the force, Defense Department spokesman Rear Adm. John Kirby said.

The soldiers will be among the total 3,000 U.S. troops whom the Pentagon plans to send into West Africa this fall.

Hum....well I guess Marines turned into Army, and then that turned into one of the Army's elite fighting forces. I'm sure they are just there to protect the other 1,500 troops I haven't been able to find any info on. However the article does have pic from photographer Jerome Delay (AP photographer (in Paris according to twitter)) of Navy Engineers (on land) with pretty hard hats on, in Africa? Confused yet?

This entire thing stinks. The military will be told to shut up if one of their troops gets Ebola. The reason they where sent is because military troops can be told to shut up.

Yes they will. Just like the soldiers who found WMDs in Iraq and were told to shut up, denied medical attention and denied awarding of commendations. Oh, ISIS now controls this area with all the remaining WMDs.

Ebola is not a good weapons grade candidate according to one of the government doctors repeatedly seen on TV.

So, in reference to the second nurse getting ebola, Dr.
Frieden says;

"The second health care worker should not have been
allowed to travel by virtue of being in an exposed group," .

BUT they have no problem letting
people get on planes to come here after being in Africa?

This is just crazy..

We are screwed.

This aged well. So.... has Piers or Hannity followed up to see what Biff's golfing time looks like?

What better way to further decimate our military than to pass a highly virulent virus with no known cure through the troops?

This aged well. 4 years go Obama was gonna decimate our military via ebola.

Does your posting history hold up better than your prediction that FOX would have no prime time coverage of the caravan? That didn’t age well either and that was just yesterday.
