Thinking about getting a Taurus 9mm. 709 or Millenium Pro jumped out a me but not set on anything.
Haven't shot many at all yet but I like the size and I like the price.
A buddy has a Taurus .380 that I like but I prefer larger calibre. 9mm is appealing due to the nice price of ammunition.
Thoughts?

9mm is some cheap and available ammo. Used around the world for police/military, though I think the big move is to slightly more power. I believe in most instances it is an adequate cartridge for self-defense. Learn to double-tap.
I"m looking at a Baretta 9mm. classic gun.

I know most of the local law enforcement in this area is .40, which is what I was originally thinking.
You'd never guess that when pricing ammo however.
And I might end up with a .40 XD or XDm at some point as well, but first I want to address the concealed carry gun.

9mm is a minimum for me, If I was going to get rid of my .40, I'd get a 9mm.
