Announced he will not ask Niki Haley and Mike Pompeo to join his administration. Maybe you can teach new tricks to an old dog. Those two are the most NeoCon of all the NeoCons in the country. I don’t think anybody believed he’d let Haley out of his dog house, but the way Pompeo has been kissing his ass the last three months was a concern. Now if he will keep Tom Cotton at arm’s length he might get to be the antiwar president he says he wants to be.

Cotton endorsing John Cornyn for Senate Majority leader is a huge concern. Hopefully we can find a good Republican candidate to challenge him in the 2026 Republican primary but that's a awfully tall order. Still better than any Democrat but only a little.
