An Argument That Progressive Democracy Benefits The 1%

What is always worth a laugh is the "progressive" politicians who peddle anti-Wall Street verbiage to the masses while actively promoting the financial success of Wall Street and themselves through policy and regulation, and when called out for it, they blame some nebulous bullshit and those useful progressive cattle idiots eat it up.

Bernie has a few houses and drives an Audi R8. Think he actually gives a shit about the 99%? There are plenty of people that think he actually does. And don't get me started on that toad Hillary.

Progressives are totalitarian in nature. Of course progressivism benefits the 1%. The 1% hate individualism.

While that may be true of some so-called progressives, I think you are painting with a too broad brush. Progressives are collectivist, which in its purest form is totalitarian (think of the Borg from Star Trek), but most progressives have not followed their political principles to their logical ends. They don't see why the world can't be one big commune where everybody is "equal" in political and economic stature. They don't see the logical fallacies of their vision. This article states one of those fallacies - a very important one! - in terms anyone can understand if they permit themselves to.

It's not that they can't. It's that they won't. Ruins the narrative to keep their voters voting. Uninformed and compliant is what they want (DNC email, not something I made up). Their voters are only too eager to comply.

Part of the problem is how easy the main talking points of the ideology are to learn. They can take it in and regurgitate them fairly easily. This is also part of the reason dialogue is not a part of the post modern mindset. They are not accepting of anything other than what they want. In fact, logic is part of the problem that exacerbates the oppressive patriarchy they oppose.
