Is it 'devotion to the exotic' or simply a desire to see life outside of ones comfort zone? As a fellow message board member full of travelers, I find hypocritical of us to criticize young people for wanting to see the world.
'This desire to reject who they are'. Really? Or maybe this overwhelming desire to find someplace more interesting than that place where they randomly started life. It's hard to believe but there are communities out there more progressive, more fulfilling and more entertaining than small-town or big-town Oklahoma. Not a shot at Oklahoma.....just a reality. Different strokes for different folks.

You're brave to even give it a shot. I don't click on any of NZ's links or videos because they usually contain some kind of anti-Semitic message.
Speaking of pulling strings, did you see Marilyn Chambers at all? Methinks NZ is "baiting" me to watch.
