My wife and son both have struggled with it this week. I test negative today.

I'm beginning to think my X-Men mutant power is I can't catch the Rona.

I have been Tested 5 times and negative each time. I have not been seriously ill since COVID hit but have had mild stuff. I am assuming I have had it and fortunately had no to mild symptoms. I have thought about getting tested for the antibodies out of curiosity.

Knock on wood but I haven't gotten it either.
When it first hit I stayed home for 6 weeks and only went to the mailbox. Finally got tired of that and started getting out and wore a mask everywhere. May of 2020 we bought a house out in the Country after looking for 6 yrs then we listed our house for sale, I had some minor work done outside, new wooden fence on one side, new stairs for the deck and some new boards, powerwashed and restained so I was around workers for a couple of weeks then had people in our home when the Realtor would have a request to see it. Sold the house in 4 days. I thought if I was going to get it I would have gotten it then when it was going pretty strong.
Have been around people that had it, have been all over and recently back in Nov 2021 I went to an OU game, thought maybe for sure I would get it then but nothing.
Wife works at a Hospital and thought that I would get it that way, but haven't yet but she has the vax.
The weird part aside from seasonal allergies I have not even had the common cold. Last time I had one was Dec 2019 after a trip out of State to see Family at Christmas.
Like AC said, maybe an Immunity to it? I really don't know.

I just went thru 7 weeks of chemo and radiation treatments. My doctors were very concerned about my contracting COVID. It never happened. I had bloodwork done every week to include a Covid test. Negative every time.

No confirmed diagnosis. Never felt bad enough to go to a doctor. About 9 days of headache and fever after my second Pfizer dose. There have been a couple of occasions where I either felt a cold coming on or felt congested. I use a CPAP, so sniffles, congestion, and phlegm in the throat are kind of the norm for me.

i haven’t been sick. if i had been tested every day, i’m sure i would have tested positive at some point. but i don’t get sick enough to stay home very often. i checked the other day and i haven’t had to have a sub for school since April of 2018. that being said, two of my daughters have tested positive (one was sick, the other was not). My ex said shes been sick with Covid twice.

Like I said, if I had tested on a daily or even weekly basis, i’d probably would've tested positive once or maybe even more, but i’ve never been symptomatic. That’s the BS of this whole thing. There are people who before this pandemic would have tested positive for the flu, but they just go on with their daily life. Now, those people are expected to miss work when they don’t even feel sick.

Oh, i got poked back in May so i wouldn't have to wear a mask at work and because i was planning on going on a cruise.

I had it at the end of August/briefing of September (as posted on here). Jabbed the day before Thanksgiving. Had covid again 3 weeks ago with minor symptoms. Felt worse after my jab than I did either time with covid.

Getting more convinced that treatment is the best approach to the virus for people without comorbidities. I am admittedly not a doctor, but I do know doctors that agree with me.

Excited for the time when people can make personal decisions about their health again without having freedoms taken away.

Yeah. There are quite a few people that never knew they had it. Some, like my step kids, had to get tested periodically for college, and had positive results a couple of times but no symptoms. Crazy variety of effects.

That’s the thing about this that I hate. People are being shamed into getting vaccinated or wearing masks. The commercials about the young daughters begging their fathers to get vaccinated are the worst. Another thing that is BS is getting vaccinated and then the government coming back and saying you should also get a booster shot.

The bottom line is this: if you have physical issues, getting the flu can be dangerous or even deadly for people. That has been the case forever - long before Covid. We had 50-100 thousand deaths a year due to flu, but if you asked people today, you’d think no one ever died of the flu before Covid.

This is similar to a theory I had. Back in the mid 90s, a law school classmate of mine lost his wife to pneumonia. I don’t know the details, but I imagine it was brought on by cold/flu. She was probably in her late 20s or early 30s. My theory is she was simply vulnerable to whatever particular virus she caught and there was nothing she could have done to prevent it. She was just unlucky that her number came up.

Because of Chicom-19’s contagion factor, the odds of someone like her catching the virus and developing a life threatening sickness are increased. But I think if you have a history of fighting off infection (I’m convinced regular exercise and lots of fresh produce are key), then you’ll probably be fine.

I'm in that same ballpark...been tested twice and both negative. I've never gotten it so I'm probably jinxing it now. Been around people who have told me the next day they had a fever but tested negative (and around others who have tested positive). I've been on the airlines, rent cars, hotels, etc etc so it's not like I've been secluded. I also have thought about getting tested for antibodies just to see...I thought I had something when this stuff first hit. I'm taking the zinc, vitamins, quercetin, and NAC. Wear a mask every time. I don't want to catch it because I'm a high risk candidate due to other medications I take. My immune system is probably about a negative 5 so I'm a sitting duck.
