Always interesting to see what the competition thinks when you make a hire

Some interesting things being said about Underwood and how he relates to OSU. Also some interesting Gottlieb comments - warning: the PDGTI group should not read...

This part was particularly interesting from Landthieves...

My chest literally hurts on this one. I bleed OU Crimson and SFA purple. Underwood is a freaking monster. 59-1 in conference play in the 3 years since he's been here. Everybody saw Thomas Walkup go off in the tourney. Before Underwood arrived at SFA, Walkup was a weak pass-only on offensive and decent defensive player. What Underwood turned him into is unreal.

For the cliff notes version of what he runs, think of what West Virginia runs but with an intellectual approach. SFA was one lucky tip in away from being in the Sweet 16 and they just destroyed WVU who finished 2nd in the Big XII. All of that with the type of talent you can recruit to Nacogdoches Texas.

All I can say is I honestly don't know how you beat his teams unless you have a size and athletic advantage. And in 2 years at OSU, I don't know if any team will have that advantage anymore.
