Did anyone else watch All the Way on HBO? I could watch Bryan Cranston play LBJ all day long. I always enjoy movies about that era, gives me a better perspective for what is an actual struggle and what is just another waste of time.

Agreed that Bryan Cranston is one of the most versatile actors going right now. The guy can do anything and is always spectacular in any role he chooses.

I really enjoyed his portrayal of LBJ and often forgot that I was watching an actor, but the story left me a little flat. It focused almost entirely on passing the Civil Rights bill and just seemed to gloss of the problems he had with Vietnam. If they could have spent a little more time on the war and how it drove him to not run for re-election in 1968, that would have been a more compelling movie. But not too bad in itself, thanks mostly to Mr. Cranston and his outstanding portrayal of LBJ.

I could always go for more but the way I looked at it was that he was so preoccupied with the civil rights bill and getting elected he failed to pay much attention to Vietnam ( no idea how accurate that is historically but that's how I took it from the movie). That whole period was so pivotal in how we think as a country it's fascinating.
