Alex Steen is a longtime friend (I’ve know his father since 2nd grade: 1965). He is Tulsa native, wrestled High School for Union and collegiately at James Town, ND. He’s a great friend and student of wrestling with whom I had the pleasure having many discussions. A longtime, if not lifelong, fan of OSU who posts here under the pseudonym, OkieSpladle.

Alex recently returned from serving us and our country to a position with The Open Mat and in the short time he’s been there he has produced many fine articles for our pleasure and enlightenment.

Please check out Alex’s articles on The Open Mat. Here is a link to his Archives and a few of my fav’s.

Thanks a lot. I was under the impression that Alex Steen was a pseudonym. Knowing that he is OkieSpladle answers all my questions. His prolific output has almost single-handily made TOM a must-read site.
