Virginia Democrat Rep. Don Beyer fired an aide who allegedly worked with the Chinese Embassy to schedule meetings with staffers on Capitol Hill.

I wonder how much of this goes on and has gone in Washington. Congressional aide works with the Chinese to set meeting up with those in Congress to influence their vote on legislation and the punishment is she gets fired? Shouldn't she be charged for violating the Foreign Agent Registration Act?
