Ironic that the Crimean war was basically Turkey and the west against imperial Russia. Could see NATO pulling a Britain ( and French) moment when the Sudetenland/Czechoslovakia were invaded by Germany. Sorry guys....we don't have your back after all.

Can't imagine Putin would risk a war, but with obysmals nuts in his wife's hacky sack and it being an election year, doubt he is ready for anything harder than slipping on his golf shoes and hitting the course.

Think about how much of the Russian economy is petroleum-based, which we all know is in the crapper worldwide. What better way to create a diversion from Russian suckage than to create a straw-man. Putin knows that Barry is the biggest pussy in the world, so big that Harry Reems couldn't hit either side of he/she/it's vagina. BOOM! Game on, and we'll not play.

JB, am certain Putin is COUNTING on the idiot President and the rest of NATO to do nothing. If they did get in a shooting war with Turkey and nothing is done have to believe a number of the old Soviet Bloc countries would get extremely nervous with The Republic of Georgia and the Baltic States being top of that list.
Would the western world risk a world war over those vacation stops? Highly doubt it.
